| 内容記述 | (Purpose) Treatment of the primary tumor with either surgery or radiotherapy can have unpredictable effects on metastases. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of radiation fractionation on the motility, migration and invasiveness on cancer cells. \n(Methods) Three different cell lines were investigated; A549, U87 and WM793B. The total radiation dose was 5Gy as an acute and fractionations. The scratch motility assay and Western blot (PDK1, P75NGF and P53) were utilized within 24 hr after exposure to irradiation. \n(Results) After 12 and 24 h incubation showed that irradiation increased would healing activity and this increase was time dependant and invesrsely proportional to the dose rate of fractionation. Addtionally, all three protein makers showed a significant increase with fractionation compared to acute dose. \n(Conclusions) In this study, the enhancement of cell motility, migration and invasiveness by irradiation was observed and fractionation was correlated with over expression of both PDKI and P75NGF which were associated with cell migration and invasiveness. |
