The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of radiation fractionation on the motility, migration and invasiveness on cancer cells.\n\\n(Methods)\nThree different cell lines were investigated; A549, U87 and WM793B. The total radiation dose was 5Gy as an acute and fractionations. The scratch motility assay and Western blot (PDK1, P75NGF and P53) were utilized within 24 hr after exposure to irradiation.\n\\n(Results)\nAfter 12 and 24 h incubation showed that irradiation increased would healing activity and this increase was time dependant and invesrsely proportional to the dose rate of fractionation.
