内容記述 | Response of in vitro fertilized embryos against oxygen (5% or air) and the half strengths of the MEM amino acids were compared between in-house bred C57BL/6JNrs and commercially available C57BL/6JSlc mice. Under atmospheric oxygen, development to blastocysts and expanded blastocyst and nuclear number are lower in Slc embryos than in Nrs embryos and Slc embryos did not increase nuclear number during 72-96 hr culture. Amino acid did not necessarily have beneficial effect on embryo development and nuclear number of Slc embryos, but on nuclear number of Nrs embryos. Because present study showed differences in sensitivity to culture conditions between the C57BL/6J substrains, care must be taken in embryo manipulation of this inbred strain to study embryo development or other studies. | |||||
