内容記述 We have been investigating to properly evaluate personal dose equivalent for the lens of the eye, Hp(3) of highly exposed medical staffs. One of the key parameters is the mean X-ray energy which medical staff may receive around their eyes, because the response of the dosimeter is strongly dependent on incident X-ray energy. However, there is a few studies which experimentally investigated scattered X-rays that medical staff actually encounters during their procedures. The scattered X-rays from X-ray diagnosis and therapeutic equipment was measured using the CdTeZn spectrometer. Derived results indicated that the mean X-ray energies ranged between 40 keV and 60 keV. The measurement results also support that the reduction effect on the eye lens dose due to the protection glasses or ceiling-suspended shield was experimentally evaluated from the pulse height spectra.
