内容記述 | The effect of the plateau region carbon ion (C-ion) beams (13 keV/µm) on lipid molecules was investigated by 2,2,6-trimethyl-4-(4-nitrobenzo[1,2,5]oxadiazol-7-ylamino)-6-pentylpiperidine-1-oxyl (NBD-Pen), a highly selective fluorescence probe for lipid radicals with high sensitivity. An increase in the fluorescence intensity due to lipid radical adducts of NBD-Pen was observed for the isopropyl myristate (IPM) and acetonitrile (MeCN) solutions of NBD-Pen after the plateau region C-ion irradiation, while such an increase was not observed for a methanol (MeOH) solution of NBD-Pen. A slight increase in the fluorescence intensity was observed after 30 Gy plateau region C-ion irradiation to phosphate buffer solutions containing unsaturated fatty acids, such as linoleic acid (LA) and alpha-linoleic acid (ALA), and NBD-Pen. | |||||
