内容記述 | In a conventional way to create nitrogen-vacancy centre in diamond structure, electron or ion irradiation was applied to the crystal to create vacancy within the structure, annealing was then applied to mobilize vacancy and combine nitrogen impurities to form NVC. However, in our previous report, we discovered this traditional method did not apply on detonation nanodiamond (DND), whereas NVC before annealing and after annealing remained the same, suggesting exceptional NVC formation mechanism for DND. To further investigate the reasons behind the phenomenon, a series of nanodiamond of various size were prepared in an attempt to unravel the unique properties of DND. Detailed quantitative analysis of NVC was measured using electron paramagnetic resonance on boiling acid treated nanodiamond. | |||||
