内容記述 In recent years, the precise irradiation methods, such as IMRT and heavy
ion radiotherapy, have developed and used widely for cancer treatment.
They have made possible correct irradiation to complicated-shaped target
and greatly improved the effect of radiotherapy. Meanwhile, for the
patients who receive two or more radiotherapy because of a local
recurrence and/or a remote metastasis, for physicians it is necessary to
plan the radiation treatment so that the dose distribution would not
overlap with previous radiation. Conventionally, a radiation oncologist
determine a new plan by referring to a past radiation treatment plan
visually. However, this work is very complex and difficult, and high
skill is required of doctors. In this study, we tried to develop a next
generation system to support designing multiple treatments with reliable
and effective radiation, and the nonlinear registration method for
aligning the intra-subject X-ray CT images obtained on another day was
examined.
The goal of this study is to combine the dose distribution of the
repeated radiation therapy on the nominal CT-image atlas and to evaluate
the tolerance dose of the each treated organs. This paper is the first
step of the study.
