内容記述 | A high-performance brain DOI-PET scanner, jPET-D4, is under development at National Institute of Radiological Sciences (NIRS). This scanner is designed to achieve not only high spatial resolution but also high sensitivity using four-layered DOI detectors. The scanner has five-detector rings with the ring diameter of 390mm and each detector ring consists of 24 DOI detectors. Since each 3D crystal position is given by controlling scintillation light path in the crystal block, the detector calibration procedure is very complicated and important for quantification of PET images. The purpose of this study is to determine the detector calibration procedure and to perform an initial evaluation of the system capabilities of the jPET-D4 with one-detector ring. |
