内容記述 | The QST as Japan domestic agency (JADA) procures 8 sets of 170 GHz, 1 MW gyrotrons for ITER EC H&CD. Two ITER gyrotrons (#1 and #2) were manufactured. Performance tests of ITER gyrotrons have being carried out. In short pulse experiments (~ 1ms), the output power of 1 MW for both gyrotrons. Long pulse experiments for one of the ITER gyrotron are underway. The output power of 1.06 MW for 200 s has been achieved. Here, the beam voltage, CPD voltage and beam current were 80.4 kV, 33.7 kV and 44.6 A, respectively. The total efficiency reached 50.7 % and the oscillation efficiency was 29.5 %. Full-power modulation of 5 kHz has being performed. Up to now, the 5 kHz modulation at 0.8 MW-level was achieved for 60 s. | |||||
