Two ITER gyrotrons (#1 and #2) were manufactured. Performance tests of ITER gyrotrons have being carried out. In short pulse experiments (~ 1ms), the output power of 1 MW for both gyrotrons. Long pulse experiments for one of the ITER gyrotron are underway. The output power of 1.06 MW for 200 s has been achieved. Here, the beam voltage, CPD voltage and beam current were 80.4 kV, 33.7 kV and 44.6 A, respectively. The total efficiency reached 50.7 % and the oscillation efficiency was 29.5 %. Full-power modulation of 5 kHz has being performed.
