内容記述 | The hybrid code MEGA has been used to study the ramp-up phase of a high-beta plasma in the JT-60SA tokamak as predicted by integrated simulations. Here, we report new results on the behavior of fast ions in the presence of reconnecting instabilities. When such reconnecting instabilities develop in our simulations, we observe a flattening in the density profiles of both the bulk plasma and the fast ions across a large portion of the plasma core. The results are explained on the basis of orbit-based resonance analysis combined with Poincarè maps, and the important role of magnetic drifts is demonstrated. | |||||
