Here, we report new results on the behavior of fast ions in the presence of reconnecting instabilities. When such reconnecting instabilities develop in our simulations, we observe a flattening in the density profiles of both the bulk plasma and the fast ions across a large portion of the plasma core. The results are explained on the basis of orbit-based resonance analysis combined with Poincarè maps, and the important role of magnetic drifts is demonstrated., Satellite Tokamak Project, Integrated Project Team 7th Research Coordination Meeting (RCM-7)}, title = {Reconnecting Instabilities during JT-60SA Ramp-Up with Off-axis N-NB Injection}, year = {2018} }
