| 内容記述 | Intracellular inclusions of pathological tau fibrils are hallmark lesions in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and associated tauopathies, and there has been a growing interest in the mechanistic links between fibrillar tau accumulation and neuronal deterioration. Characteristic symptoms of tauopathies are known to be associated with regional distribution of fibrillary tau lesions. In-vivo tau imaging would accordingly facilitate precise clinical diagnosis of tauopathies and objective staging of the disease in living patients on a neuropathological basis. At this time, there has been no confirmation of an imaging agent which is suitable for tau inclusions not only for AD but also non-AD tauopathies by positron emission tomography (PET). | |||||
