内容記述 | A new therapeutic technique using several ion species in a single treatment session, multi-ion irradiation, is being studied for optimizing the physical dose as well as dose-averaged LET distributions in a patient. To fulfill requirements of the multi-ion irradiation, the accelerators have to produce and accelerate various ion species, and those ions have to be quickly changed and subsequently provided to the treatment rooms. In this report, accelerator development for the multi-ion irradiation is described. | |||||
