内容記述 | Novel bipolar membranes were prepared by the radiation of the base ethylene-co-tetrafluoroethylene film, co-grafting of sodium p-styrenesulfonate (SSS) and acrylic acid (AA) from one side of the film, grafting of chloromethylstyrene (CMS) from the other side, and quaternization of CMS units. It was found that the cation exchange layer and anion exchange layer were clearly separated from each other. This would be due to the immiscibility between a hydrophilic SSS/AA solution and hydrophobic CMS solution. | |||||
