内容記述 | Pigeon’s Fe-S cluster binding protein clISCA1 interacts with cryptochrome (clCRY4) which acts as a quantum magnetic sensor. Recently, we revealed that the native structure of clISCA1 protomer is changeable between the globular Type-A and the rod-like Type-B. The Type-A clISCA1 is self-oligomerized toward columnar oligomer, which enables to bind many Fe-S clusters into the interfaces between the clISCA1 molecules in its oligomer and might improve the magnetic sensitivity of clISCA1. Here we report the magnetic effects on the structure and molecular behavior of clISCA1 observed by the small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) coupled with the periodic Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet circuit. The SAXS data suggested that the oligomerization of clISCA1 proceeds with the applied magnetic field effect. We are planning to confirm whether the magnetic response of clISCA1 observed in this study is a clISCA1-specific phenomenon or not. | |||||
