内容記述 | We study the physics of nonlinear frequency chirping in a tokamak plasma using the Hamiltonian guiding center orbit following code ORBIT with a reduced df model for nonlinear interactions between fast ions and ideal magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) modes. New insights concerning the nonadiabatic chirp onset and the effects of beating due to interference between multiple chirps are reported. Preliminary results of applying ORBIT to chirping modes observed in JT-60U are also presented. | |||||
