内容記述 | For the development of the IFMIF (International Fusion Materials Irradiation Facility) aiming at material tests for fusion power plants, the construction of the Linear IFMIF Prototype Accelerator (LIPAc) has been conducted at Rokkasho, Japan under the Broader Approach Agreement. The aim of this accelerator is to demonstrate the validity of the low energy section of an IFMIF deuteron accelerator up to 9 MeV with a beam current of 125 mA in continuous wave (CW). The beam commissioning of RFQ has been conducted since June 2018 in order to demonstrate the capability of deuteron acceleration up to 5 MeV with the full current at low duty cycle (0.1 %). Also the assembly of the Superconducting RF (SRF) linac accelerating the beam up to 9 MeV has been started in a clean room in Rokkasho, and the installation of accelerator components used in the final stage, i.e. the HEBT (High Energy Beam Transport line) and the beam dump accepting 1 MW, CW beam, has been completed. The progress of the validation of LIPAc carried out in Rokkasho as well as the preparation for the final goal of the commissioning will be presented. | |||||
