内容記述 | The discovery of lymphatic vessels in the dura mater suggests that the brain is not completely isolated from the general immune system as previously thought. It has also been shown that the glymphatic system plays a role in transporting blood and cerebrospinal fluid to the brain parenchyma. In this article, the authors discuss the possibility that the intradural lymphatic vessels and glymphatic system may contribute to the clearance of amyloid β peptide and tau protein deposits from the brains of animals modeling Alzheimer's disease. | |||||
