内容記述 | To understand functional feature of overlapping di-nucleosome (OLDN), the solution structure was investigated with the integration of small-angle X-ray and neutron scatterings (SAXS and SANS), computer modeling and molecular dynamics simulations. We found that inclusion of histone tails which are not observed in the crystal structure essentially improves the model quality. The obtained structural models indicate that OLDN adopts a relatively large variety of conformations, each of which is stabilized by the histone tails placed in the interface between the hexasome and the octasome to form hydrogen bonds with DNA. | |||||
