内容記述 | Excitation functions for the natTi(3He,x)48V, natTi(3He,x)48Cr and natTi(3He,x)48,47,46g+m,43Sc nuclear reactions were measured from the respective threshold up to 55 MeV incident energy by using a conventional stacked-foil activation technique combined with HPGe γ-ray spectrometry. Measured data show an overall good agreement with the earlier reported experimental data, but those at the high energy side are often underestimated by TENDL-2017 library obtained using TALYS code. Cross-sections for 43Sc radionuclide in the energy range of 36–55 MeV is reported here for the first time. This study indicates that the natTi(3He,x)47Sc reaction could be used as an alternative to the IAEA recommended natTi(3He,x)48V for helium-3 beam monitoring (immediately after EOB) in the energy region of ≥40 MeV since the intense γ-lines of 48V is interfered by the simultaneously produced relatively long-lived 48Sc radionuclide. | |||||
