内容記述 | In the present study, we conducted an-in deep study of the role of radiation quality (LET), radiation dose and ion species in modulating the PLDR in human cells exposed to low-or high-LET radiations. Cells were irradiated with various types of radiation and the LET values ranged from ~2.2 to 400 keV/um. Cell-killing efficiencies were measured using a colony-formation assay at immediately (IP, 5-10 min) or delayed plating (DP, 24 h) after irradiation. The PLDR was calculated by the ratio of surviving fractions (DP/IP) at different doses or isosurvival dose of IP. As expected, PLDR decreased with increase LET and when LET was higher than ~200keV/µm; there are little PLDR in all types of radiation and doses. Moreover, there are a minor PLDR in low-dose of all types of radiation used. Interestingly, the results showed that the PLDR of carbon ions is higher than that of helium ions, On the other hand the PLDR of Silicon is higher than other kinds of ions-beams comparing with similar LET radiations. Those results indicated that PLDR is not only depended on LET, but also dependent on radiation doses and ion species. | |||||
