内容記述 | Stable carbon isotope ratios in river water collected from 45 major rivers in Japan as well as total soluble carbon concentrations were measured to understand the possible carbon sources entering to river water systems in Japan. The method used was isotope ratio mass spectrometry connected with LC-Isolink (LC-IRMS) for the determination of stable carbon isotope ratios (d13C) of various types of water soluble carbon in aqueous solutions. The d13C ranged from -4.8 to -19.8 permil with an average of -10.3 permil and the total soluble carbon concentration ranged from 1.3 to 19.8 mg/L with an average of 7.2 mg/L. | |||||
