| 内容記述 | Status of industrial use of NORM in Japan was investigated. Measurements of dose rate in air and sample of dust monitoring were carried out in working environments of NORM industries where the workers handle raw materials such as monazite, zirconium and titanium. Effective doses to the workers were evaluated using results of the actual measurements and information for parameters related to the exposure. From the results of the assessment annual effective doses of the typical workers were estimated to be up to 1 mSv/y. The dose criteria for the regulation are also discussed. | |||||
