内容記述 | PET is a useful system for cancer inspection but it is not effective for intestinal and stomach cancers because of random peristaltic motion. We propose a new PET positron detector for intestinal cancers. This detector consists 120 Plastic Scintilation Fibers, 6 Wave Length Shifter Fibers, one MPPC with 9 square mm and 126 MPPC's with 1 square mm. The diaminator of this detector is 3mm and the length is 6m. This detector is installed into intestine from anus in the same time with standard PET inspection. Positrons from the inner surface of intestine are detected directly. We have performed the Monte-Carlo simulation. 5mm cancers on small intestine or 10mm cancers on large intestine can be founded in case of the ordinal PET inspection of 2 mSv. | |||||
