| 内容記述 | To investigate the cosmic radiation environment at high altitude, we have started measurements of cosmic radiation at the Mt. Fuji weather station located at the top of Mt. Fuji (3,776 m in altitude) from 2007. We tried to construct a long-distance wireless data acquisition system to transmit the measured data in real time from the weather station to the National Institute of Radiological Sciences (NIRS) in Chiba on July, 2009. The system was composed of detectors and a wireless local area network (WLAN) connected to the Internet. The WLAN connected the weather station to the office of the NPO Valid Utilization of Mt. Fuji Weather Station in Gotemba city was about 20 km distant. Some detectors set in the weather station were monitored at the NIRS from July 27 to August 22, 2009. The system worked well for the first two weeks, before earthquake with the transmission rate over 1 Mbps. | |||||
