| 内容記述 | Cosmic radiation measurements was performed in a facility of the Mt.Fuji Weather Station located at the summit of Mt. Fuji (3,776m in altitude; N 35.36, E138.73), the highest position in Japan, during the summer of 2009 to check the accuracy of numerically predicted cosmic-ray neutron doses that are still uncertain in the upper atmosphere. The 1cm ambient dose equivalent H*(10) of neutrons at aviation altitude was estimated simply from the measurements at Mt.Fuji and compared to the data obtained in an civilian aircraft under mostly the same condition of solar modulation. According to the results, the cosmic radiation dose rates at aviation altitude around Japan can be verified in part by the continuous measurements at the summit of Mt. Fuji. | |||||
