内容記述 Quantification of the binding potential (BP) of the receptor in human brain has been performed with PET. In this quantitative analysis, the error of estimated kinetic parameter is affected by the noise depends on the sensitivity of PET camera, injection dose, scan protocol, and so on. The evaluation of reliability of estimated kinetic parameter is important for the optimization of scan protocol and quantitative analysis method. However, the estimation of reliability is not easy for human data because the true noise level is not precisely known. In this study, we have evaluated a method for estimating the reliability of estimated kinetic parameter with bootstrap approach in the simulation data and human data, and applied this method for evaluating the influence of scan time on the error of estimated BP in PET studies with [11C]raclopride. As a result, the reliability of kinetic parameter estimates in ROI analysis of human data was able to be deduced from the replicated data generated by bootstrap method. In [11C]raclopride studies, mean of estimated BP value did not change when the scan time varied from 30 to 90 min. However, variation of BP estimates became larger as the scan time became shorter. The standard deviation was under 1% when the scan time was longer than 60min. With the bootstrap method, the reliability of parameter estimates will be able to be estimated easily from only measured data, and this method is useful for the evaluation of optimal scan protocol.
