| 内容記述 | The treatment planning (TP) of Carbon Ion Therapy at NIRS using a commercial Radiation Treatment Planning that supports the proton passive beam delivery is described. The proton beam model was customized to adapt to the carbon ion beam model. Compared to the currently used TP system more precise dose distributions are obtained with the pencil beam calculations that include the real range compensator data, beam divergence and lateral penumbra. The interface that converts the TP data set into our local format was developed as an external tool. The use of TP tools common to the photon therapy planning is also beneficial. | |||||
