| 内容記述 | Synovia sarcoma (SS) is a rare but aggressive soft-tissue sarcoma commonly occurs in young adults. Local recurrence and metastasis of SS result in poor prognosis and the establishment of an effective therapeutic option is desired. Frizzled homolog 10 (FZD10), the transmembrane protein highly expressed in SS tumor but not in most normal tissues, is expected as a therapeutic target against SS. Recently, the advantages of alpha-radioimmunotherapy (alpha-RIT) using radioisotope(RI)-labeled antibody emitting alpha-particles have been shown in treating metastatic cancer. Alpha-particle can be specifically delivered to and effectively kill the cancer cells sparing normal tissues. Astatine 211 (At211) is one of the attractive RIs because of the 100% alpha-particle emission and appropriate half-life. In this study, we verified the tumor accumulation of At211-labeled anti-FZD10 antibody ([At211]anti-FZD10 Ab) and performed preclinical alpha-RIT to SS tumor xenograft model mice in order to investigate the antitumor effect. Our results provided the proof of concept that alpha-RIT using [At211]anti-FZD10 Ab has high potential as a novel therapeutic option against SS. |
