内容記述 | The research group in Japan that pursues the possibility of inertial fusion employing giant cluster ions has been continuing to study the main beam driver, i.e., the two-way multiplex induction synchrotron, as well as the injector and the multiplex permanent-magnet stacking ring. In the presentation, a conceptual design of the main driver accelerator is described, including the layout of its basic lattice and beam transfer scenario from the stacking ring to the main ring and from the main ring to the bunch compressor line. | |||||
