| 内容記述 | Abstract This study aimed to determine the predictive factors for late morbidities in the rectum, bladder and bone after carbon-ion radiotherapy (C-ion RT) for uterus carcinomas. Between June 1995 and January 2010, 134 patients with uterus carcinomas were treated by C-ion RT with curative intent. Of these, 132 who were followed up for >6 months were analyzed. Dose-volume histogram (DVH) statistics were recalculated using recent planning software (Xio-N). The median follow-up period was 38 months (range: 6-251 months). The correlations of clinical and dosimetric parameters; V10–V60, D5cc, D2cc, and Dmax with incidence of morbidities were retrospectively analyzed. The 3-year actuarial occurrence rates of ≥grade 2 proctitis and cystitis were 18% and 11%, respectively. Regarding the DVH data on the rectum, the D2cc, and Dmax in patients with ≥grade 2 proctitis were significantly higher than in those with grade 0–1 toxicity. In addition, the D5cc for the bladder in patients with ≥grade 2 cystitis was significantly higher than in those with grade 0–1 morbidity. The bone inflammation occurred the most in sacral bones. DVH data on the sacral bone, the V10 and V20 in patients with ≥grade 1 bone inflammation were significantly higher than in those without bone inflammation. |
