| 内容記述 | Aim of present study is toinvestigate the combination effect of carbon ion radiotherapy and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitor for refractory gastrointestinal carcinoma in mice. We assessed the sensitization effect of gemcitabine and gefitinib (EGFR inhibitor) for carbon ion radiotherapy in tumor ceIls. Gefitinib (Iressa) has been reported to inhibit the proiiferation of pancreatic cancer. And the degree of enhancement of radiation effect is increased with combining GEM and Iressa. ln this study, we investigated the effectiveness of combining GEM and lressa with carbon ion radiotherapy for pancreatic cancer. The addition of GEM and lressa to carbon ion therapy was significantly decreasing the tumor growth in compared to the carbon ion alone. | |||||
