| 内容記述 | A portable radiation instrument with a solid-state multi-scintillator probe was newly developed. The responses to energetic neutrons, protons and helium ions were examined at selected accelerators in Japan. As results, the detector can separate well the major cosmic-ray components. Optimization of the scintillation probe structure (scintillator thickness) and coding of an easy-to-handle particle discrimination & unfolding program are now in progress. | |||||
