| 内容記述 | [Purpose and background] to evaluate the potential of functional images before carbon ion radiotherapy for mucosal malignant melanoma to predict distant metastasis [Materials and methods] We recruited patients with mucosal malignant melanoma in head and neck All patients were performed carbon ion radiotherapy with 57.6GyE/16fr. with concurrent chemotherapy (DAV). Distant metastasis-free survival rate was calculated with Kaplan-Meier method. The patients were divided into two groups with median value of each factor. [Results] Fifty one patients were enrolled. Mean follow-up period was 14.4 months. The 1-year and 3-year distant metastasis-free survival rate of all patients were 70.5% and 51.9%, respectively. Distant metastasis-free survival rate of the patients with lower minimum ADC was significant worse than that of the patients with higher minimum ADC (log-rank test, p=0.002). Distant metastasis-free survival rate of the patients with higher MET TMR was tend to be worse than that of the patients with lower MET TMR (log-rank test, p=0.08). [Conclusion] Minimum ADC might be a prognostic factor of distant metastasis of mucosal malignant melanoma in head and neck |
