| 内容記述 | 上記国際会議において、下記の概要にて発表を行うとともに、施設見学、意見交換の打合せ等を行った。 Over 4000 cancer patients have already been treated by the heavy-ion medical accelerator in Chiba (HIMAC) at the National Institute of Radiological Sciences (NIRS) since 1994. HIMAC has been required to realize a stable beam with the same conditions for daily operation, and has completely satisfied over 15 years. We report the status of the recent operation of HIMAC. The production of carbon ions is harder effort than other ion species for ion sources, especially. We summarize 15 years experiences of the carbon-ion production too. |
