内容記述 | Combination of constant-time spectral-spatial imaging (CTSSI) modality and projection reconstruction modality was tested to achieve simple data acquisition for multi-dimensional CW EPR spectral-spatial imaging. A phantom containing 2 mM water solutions of three different nitroxides, i.e. TEMPOL, carbamoyl-PROXYL, and carboxy-PTIO, was prepared. Several image data sets of conventional 2D EPR image modality were obtained by a conventional EPR imaging system using incrimentally rampping field gradient amplitudes. Each image data set was consisted of 18 projections. 37 data sets were obtained from -18 Gauss/cm to +18 Gauss/cm with 1 Gauss/cm steps. EPR spectral data obtained under an identical direction of field gradients were extracted from those image data sets obtained using several different amplitudes of field gradients, and then a CTSSI data set was reassembled. The process were repeated for all 18 spatial directions. Then, 2D spectral-spatial images were reconstructed by the CTSSI modality for 18 spatial directions. Extra reconstruction processes to obtain higher spatial dimensions were done by a conventional projection reconstruction modality. Finaly, a 3D spectral-spatial image was obtained. The data acquisition process for a multi-dimensional spectral-spatial imaging was simplified. Any special equipment and/or any rewriting software were required for the spectral-spatial data acquisition. This technique can be applicable to any conventional CW EPR (spatial) imaging systems to achieve a spectral-spatial imaging. | |||||
