| 内容記述 | Beta-amyloid plaques are the hallmark of Alzheimers disease (AD). Mild cognitive impairment is a transitional stage between normal aging and early AD. [11C]PIB has been successfully used for studies of amyloid deposition in the brain of AD patients in vivo. Previous studies with [11C]PIB PET, showed that some MCI subjects showed as high amyloid deposition as AD patients, while some MCI subjects did not show any amyloid deposition in the brain. However, data analysis of MCI patients has been based on region-of-interest (ROI) analysis of selected brain regions. Objective: To investigate detailed distribution of amyloid deposition in MCI subjects by voxel-based analysis of [11C]PIB PET. |
