内容記述 | The first clinical trial with carbon beams generated from HIMAC was conducted in June 1994. The total number of patients treated was in excess of 6,000 as of February 2011. Based on more than ten years of experience with HIMAC, a new treatment research facility project has been progressed for the further development of therapy with HIMAC. The new treatment research facility, as an extension of the existing one, has been designed, and the related R&D work has been carried out. Based on the design study and R&D work, the new treatment research facility was constructed, and the clinical study has been successfully initiated since May 17th 2011. | |||||
