内容記述 | Strong radiobiological effect of charged particle beam causes higher RBE and lower OER of high-LET radiation is well known. Higher therapeutic gain between normal tissue and cancer tissues in the target volume is also exists when it is used for cancer radiotherapy. Cancer cells will be irradiated by high-RBE and low-OER radiation with high dose, and normal cells will receive low-RBE radiation with low dose at charged particle therapy. Thus, charged particle beam can control tumor tissues with higher probability to photon radiation. High LET beam produced steep TCP curve that may be caused through a reduced dispersion of cell radio-sensitivity. It also showed that probability of second cancer induction seems to be low in the pass of the beam and similar at target area. | |||||
