内容記述 | To investigate whether the abscopal effect could be transferred by macrophage and led to a distant bystander effect, we used an in vitro model and compared the difference between low LET γ-ray and high LET carbon ions irradiation. It was found that both low LET and high LET irradiation could lead to secondary injury by MN, apoptosis and cell injury associated protein assay in BEAS-2B cells using a multi-cell co-culture system, however this phenomenon was distinctly lower in carbon ions compared with γ-rays. Further studies showed that high expression of TNF-a and IL-1a, respectively released by γ-ray irradiated NCI-H446 and bystander U937 cells, was involved in this progress, furthermore, γ-ray irradiated H446 cancer cells induced activation of U937 cells was another reason for this secondary bystander effect. | |||||
