| 内容記述 | Carbon ion radiotherapy has been producing promising clinical results. The purpose of this study was to compare metastatic capabilities of carcinoma cells after irradiation with photon and carbon ion beams. We assessed the metastatic capabilities of SCC VII mouse squamous cells irradiated with carbon ion in the C3H mice. For cancer cells treated with carbon ion irradiation, the number of lung metastasis was decreased significantly in vivo. Carbon ion beams has preventive effects on metastases of irradiated malignant tumor cells. | |||||
