内容記述 | The use of analogues is necessary in the case where directly applicable data are not available or are of dubious quality. Three main types of analogue are considered in this document: the same parameter obtained for another isotope of the same element (e.g. using data obtained for a stable isotope of a radioactive element) -analogue isotopes; the same parameter obtained for another element -analogue elements; and the differening parameter obtained for the same element(e.g. applying the soil-; plant transfer factor for one crop to another crop) -analogue parameters. An analogue could only be proven to be valid by comparing its behaviour in the conditions of interest with that of the thing for which it is an analogue. Hence, while confidence in the validity of an analogue will increase as the quality of the justification increases, there will always be some residual uncertainty. | |||||
