内容記述 | To identify molecular mechanism of effectiveness induced by carbon-ion radiotherapy, we investigated expression profiles of murine tumors, which varied its radiosensitivity to gamma irradiation, using microarrays consisting of 55K genes. Six murine tumors (squamous cell carcinoma: NR-S1, SCCVII, Fibrosarcoma: NFSa, #8520, and Mammary carcinoma: MCa#4, MMCa) were transplanted in hind legs of C3H/Henirs mice and solid tumors were irradiated with either carbon-ion beam or gamma-ray. In microarray analysis, the pairwise comparisons between pre-treatment sample and post- treatment sample at 6h, 1 day, and 3 day after irradiation in each tumor were made by Wilcoxon test. We detected several tens of genes, whose expressions were significantly changed after carbon-irradiation. These genes were ontologically categorized into cell-cycle and immune response. Furthermore, comparison of expression intensity between radiosensitive (SCC-VII) and radioresistant (NR- S1) tumors by ANOVA test revealed a candidate molecule to be related with radioresistance. |
