内容記述 | We found that inclusion of self-consistent bulk rotation effects has an impact on kinetic effects of energetic particles for resistive wall mode (RWM) stability in tokamaks. When the bulk rotation exists, a steady-state solution to the Fokker-Planck equation for energetic particles is obtained in the frame moving with the bulk plasma. We apply the kinetic-magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) theory extended to include rotation effects to the energetic particles. The theory invokes an extended energy exchange term (denoted by dWk) between the MHD mode and the energetic particles' motion. The extended theory has been applied to RWM stability analysis in JT-60SA, which has various energetic particle sources. We found that there exists an optimum set for ``actuator'' parameters characterized by birth energy and an injected pitch angle variable, and that full RWM stabilization necessitates large energetic particle pressure (p_h/p_total~ 0.45). In addition, we found that the stabilization effect stemming from the extended dWk terms for thermal particles is partially reduced by the extended dWk terms for energetic particles. | |||||
