| 内容記述 | On March 11, 2011, a catastrophic earthquake occurred in the northwest Pacific about 130 km off northeastern japan, followed by a gigantic tsunami, which caused serious damage of the electric system of Fukushima daiichi nuclear power plant. This accident resulted in the releases of large amounts of radionuclides into the environment. We have previously found isotopic evidence fro the atmospheric release of trace Pu isotopes into the environment, however, so far no information on the Pu isotopes in the released radioactive liquid wates is available. The possible Pu contamination in teh marine environment remains unknown. In this study, we investigate the isotopic composition of Pu in marine sediments 30 km off Fukushima in teh Pacific, and evaluate the possible Pu contamination in the marine environment after the Fukushima DNPP accident. | |||||
