| 内容記述 | It was suggested that inorganic phosphorus adsorbs on the surface of phytoplankton cell from the studies on the particulate and dissolved phosphorus in seawater, and the experimental studies distinguishing between extra- and intracellular phosphorus in phytoplankton isolated from the Seto Inland Sea. In this study, the incubation experiments using 32P and 109Cd were carried out in order to clarify the amounts of cell surface fractions of phosphate and cadmium from intracellular fractions of them within the growth phase of phytoplankton. As the results, the surface-adsorbed phosphorus concentrations in phytoplankton cells were accounted for 12-50 % of the intake phosphorus concentrations in phytoplankton. The 109Cd activities in phytoplankton cells were almost constant during the growth phase, and the ratios of the surface-adsorbed 109Cd activities in phytoplankton cells were almost equal to those of intracellular 109Cd activities. Thus, the ratios of surface-adsorbed phosphorus and cadmium in phytoplankton cells occupied large proportion within the growth phase. | |||||
