内容記述 | One of the themes of the experiments in the S-LSR is generation and extraction of the short bunched beam. For example, the short bunched beam is useful to investigate the process of reaction of the free radicals that disappear in very short time. In March 2007, we succeeded in generating very short bunched beam with phase rotation method. The bunch length of 7MwV proton beam is 2.5-nsec at two-sigma after extraction. The result was obtained under the conditions with the beam intensity, the harmonics number and the RF gap voltage of 5x10(7) particles, 2, and 1030-V, respectively. The short bunched beam was kicked out from the ring by the ring bu the fast kicker magnet, and wasa measured by the fast current transformer in the extraction line. The paper describes the generation method, the extraction system and the measurement system of the short bunched beam. | |||||
