内容記述 | The effective half life of 137-Cs in acutely contaminated Japanese Catfish has determined by laboratory scale experiment. The fish were fed fish meal contaminated by 137-CsCl and then released into aquarium. To assess the 137-Cs activity remained in the fish body, the fish were counted alive for whole body radioactivity at regular intervals up to 157 days. The elimination curve for each fish was found to be composed of three components and could be designated as the 1st fast 2nd fast and the slow component. The 1st fast 2nd fast and the slow components of the effective half life of 137-Cs in Japanese cat fish were calculated from the slope of the fitted curves and were found to be 1.27, 5.76 and 251 d respectively. | |||||
