内容記述タイプ Abstract
内容記述 Two subjects were put in separate rooms with communicationnal deprivation, shile the authors measured physiological changes of one of the two, acting a Receiver, when the other, acting as a Sender attempted to give a remote action toh-ate to the Receiver at a distance. The pairs of subfects used were pracitioners of Japanese martial arts and qigong. The Receiver at a distance. The pairs of subjects used were practitioners of Japanese martial arts and qigong. The Receiver was seated in an electromagnetic shielding cage and the Sender performed only on sending motion per 80-second trial on double blinded and randomized conditions. When the Sender or Receiver pushed a switch as the event marker (EM), output signals were produced.
The signals were recorded as the sending time or the response time, along with electrodermal activities (EDA) and other physiological data, by a recorder. The Receiver's skin conductances and temperatures were sampled at a rate of 200Hz, and were analyzed in the range of 5 or 10 seconds before and ajter the initial time of sending. In the results, averaged skin temperature showed a sttistically significant change at 1 second befor sending.
